Depression
Brian Ashin, LCSW, LMSW, CGP
When you’re used to carrying it all on your own, but you can’t or don’t want to do it that way anymore… because it’s costing you and your life and your health too much. You don’t have to do this alone.
After more than forty years as a therapist, I have become humbled by the human condition. We all want to live productive and satisfying lives, yet all too often, difficult childhood experiences, trauma or painful life experiences derails one from achieving sustained happiness. And while we are all similar in our needs for human connection, feeling competent as adults and feeling free from crippling anxiety or depression, everyone has their own individual ways of making sense of their world and managing their lives. As a therapist, I strive to see the particular needs of the person in front of me and how I can be most helpful to that individual.

Working with children: Play therapy helps a child to put feelings into words and to become more independent. Your child’s capacity for making friends and succeeding in school will increase. I would be happy to talk with you about therapy.
